These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Toprank Mantra Android app and related services ("the app", "we", "us"). By downloading, signing in to, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who can use the app
Toprank Mantra is intended for UPSC Civil Services aspirants aged 18 or older. By using the app you confirm you are at least 18 years old.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure.
Before a paid purchase you may be asked to link and verify a phone number via a one-time SMS code.
Your account is personal to you. Do not share, sell, or transfer it, and do not let others use your Full Access.
3. The service
The app provides practice with previous-year UPSC question papers, answer reasoning, topic insights, and "Wormhole" links between related questions. Features and content may be added, changed, or removed over time.
4. Free trial, pricing & payment
A 24-hour free trial of Full Access is available (once per user/device) at no charge.
Full Access is a one-time purchase of ₹995 (early-bird price; inclusive of applicable taxes). It is not an auto-renewing subscription — you are charged once and are never automatically re-billed.
Payments are processed by Razorpay; by paying you also agree to Razorpay's terms. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details.
A referral discount (10% off for first-time buyers using a valid referrer code) and referrer reward points may apply per the in-app terms.
Use the app and its content only for your personal exam preparation.
Do not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or publicly repost our editorial content (answer explanations, insights, Wormhole links).
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or bypass paywalls, trial limits, or the security of the app or its backend.
6. Intellectual property & exam content
Previous-year question papers are reproduced from a single official source — the UPSC Previous Year Question Papers page (upsc.gov.in). All answer indications, explanations, insights, takeaways, and Wormhole links are our own editorial content and are protected by copyright. Toprank Mantra is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing the UPSC or the Government of India.
7. Advertising
Free-tier and trial users may see ads served by Google AdMob. Paid Full Access users do not see ads.
8. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any particular exam result, rank, or outcome.
We strive for accuracy but do not warrant that all editorial content is error-free — always cross-check with official sources.
Service availability may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time (see Delete Your Account). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in-app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from them.
